We wanted to find an easier place to pick huckleberries this year, so we went up near a big lava cave in the forest, where there is lots of sun to ripen the berries. But first we had to marvel at the cave. Magnus said it was like the Cave of Wonders from Aladdin.
Ruth was the hero of the day that picked the most berries. I mostly helped watch the boys.
Magnus found this stick that he said was lightning.
We collected a good stash of huckleberries:
