Ceramics

So, on Monday nights I have a pottery class. The first five weeks I was in the half of the class that threw pots on the wheel. Here is what I've finished so far... (Glazes have a funny way of not turning out how you expect them). Like this one that kind of looks like ground up brick... I thought it would be bright red...The rest of them turned out basically how I expected them, I'm just messy with my glaze.

Very cool Ruth. You'll have to bring some of your projects with you next time you come to visit. You are very talented!

Good job Ruth! Those are great! You know there's a lady in my ward that teaches art and when she started talking about throwing a pot, I was so confused! Never heard that term. I've got it now. :)

Dear Ruth,

Remember how like a million years ago you sent me the link to this blog? And then I came to it but I had to run and forgot to leave a comment. And then just now I found Ryan's little sister on Facebook and went to her blog, which lead me to Kathrin's blog, which happened to have a link on it to this blog. Which I am now putting on my Google reader list. The end.

Sorry I didn't follow through and leave a comment the first time I came here. Your pottery is AMAZING. I'd pay you money for them! Also, Dana is really lucky to have a wife that lets him keep giant scary cockroaches as pets. I hope he realizes how blessed he is. =)
