So we’ve gotten a bit behind. But here’s some of the things we did since our last post. Starting in December:
Dana went to the beach by himself to find waterfalls. This was at Hug Point. The lighthouse is at Cape Meares.
We picked our Christmas tree out in the woods with Brian. Still cold, but we found a good one. We also stopped by Panther Creek Falls. The trees were all crusted in ice and it would break and fall on the ground.
Here is our tree all decorated. The Elder’s Quorum was in charge of our ward Christmas party this year, and Dana made sure Santa was invited. Magnus loved sitting on Santa’s lap. Gideon was less enthused.
For my birthday we went to the Portland Children’s Museum. They have a special outdoor exhibit with these living structures that I’ve always wanted to see. It was a little cold, but it wasn’t raining, so we got to play in them.
I had birthday brownies instead of a cake. Elina and Ivan had a combined birthday party with several different cake options.
Merry Christmas! Happy birthday!
Happy waterfall hunting! Happy New years eve!
