Magnus is old enough to get a few jokes, so we pulled some for April Fools Day. We gave him Jell-O in his Sippy cup and filled his cereal box with Lego. it was good times.
Dana went out and found the difficult to get to Fly Creek Falls.
Else got some cute little bunnies made on spools of thread that both boys really loved. So I made some of my own. Here is our little herd of spool Easter bunnies. We also dyed eggs for Easter while we listened to General Conference.
The Pacific Science Center in Seattle had an exhibit about Pompeii and had some of the body casts from the ash. We drove up to Seattle with Elina and took turns going through the exhibit. There were also many artifacts and architecture from the time.
While Dana and Elina went through the Pompeii exhibit, I took the boys through the other parts of the Science Center, including the butterfly house. When Dana had gone through the exhibit, he took his turn watching the boys and I got a turn seeing the exhibit. alone. with no tiny people to distract me. It was great.
Elina is strong enough to hold this meteorite.
We went to Queen Anne Hill to see the view before heading home.
We also stopped at the newly refurbished Larsen’s Bakery where Magnus got this chocolate porcupine.

Our niece, Audrey turned one! She allowed all of us to share her cupcakes.
The weather is getting consistently nice here, nice enough to play outside with balls.
We celebrated Else’s birthday with chocolate raspberry trifle and roasted marshmallows.
We went out to Mosier and Rowena Crest to see waterfalls and wildflowers.
We discovered the Rowena Crest one snowy drive through the Gorge while we were still attending BYU.
Dana became a merit badge counselor over hiking for the Scouts in a ward and took them hiking to Hidden Falls.
