I volunteered to go with the Teacher’s Quorum on one of their practice hikes for their big hike this summer. They let me pick the hike and I figured Triple Falls fit the parameters pretty well, especially since none of them had been there before.
We started at Horsetail Falls headed up to Ponytail Falls.
The trail is a very pretty one, with some nice views and lots of waterfalls.
We had a short stop at Upper Oneonta Falls and continued up to Triple Falls. The boys had a very fast pace and we made it up the 2.5 miles in about an hour.
We explored around Triple Falls for a while.
The weather was great. It took another hour to get back to the car The whole hike was a little over 5 miles.
On the way home we did a quick stop at Crown Point.
